Dave

CompTIA have recently released a new vendor neutral RFID+
certification. The IT Foundry has been recognised by them as one
of the early adopters of this certification in the UK . This
recognition has given us the opportunity to part sponsor a
certification summit in London and team up with one of the worlds
leading training providers in this area, namely RFID4U. This
partnership with RFID4U has allowed us to run one of the first
certification courses in Europe, and in July we had a group of
delegates through the course and all of them successfully passed the
RFID+ exam, which is great testament to the training delivered by the
two expert instructors from America . The IT Foundry expects this
relationship to blossom and we want to run many more of these and
similar courses, through this partnership and raise the awareness of
the benefits that RFID can bring to our region”
Matthew Poyiadgi , Regional
Director Europe, CompTIA added “RFID is one of the most important
technologies for modern business and this announcement represents a
critical turning point for RFID skills development. Sheffield Hallam
University with RFID4U have demonstrated why we need foundation
training in emerging technologies and are the first to showcase how it
should be delivered to ensure successful results.”

RFID+ curriculum as well as RFIDQ ™ , practice tests for RFID+, have
been reviewed and approved by the Computing Technology Industry
