This course provides one day intensive instructor led training using latest and state of art RFID equipment on February 27, 2006, and includes the RFID+ Certification Exam* on February 28, 2006.

Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) currently is involved in an RFID Skills Certification Initiative called as RFID+ certification. This vendor-neutral professional certification will validate a professional’s knowledge and skills in the areas of installation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hardware and software functionality of RFID products. Currently CompTIA RFID+ beta exam is available.

*RFID+ exam testing subject to availability of certification from CompTIA. Currently the RFID+ exam is in Beta stage. It will be taken out of Beta after a minimum number of participants take the exam to give statistical data for Psychometric analysis. After the analysis the exam will be move out of Beta stage.

Prerequisites

Participants you should already possess certain prerequisite skills, which can be gained from completing the foundational RFID courses available with RFID4U or through work experience. The participant should have a working knowledge of:
  • Basic RF fundamentals
  • Tags and various types
  • Readers or Interrogators
  • Standards
  • Current RFID market awareness
The prerequisites are important! Participants arriving without a large portion of these prerequisites will make less than optimal progress in the training and will be unlikely to pass the certification exam.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee that you will obtain your RFID+ certification. If you finish RFID4U preparation training without the certification, you can attend a future RFID4U training within a period of one year, at no cost to you. To attend a future training, simply retain your courseware. You will only need to pay for meals, test vouchers and travel cost if applicable.
